WILDSIDE

Unlike most of our custom builds where the floorplan is designed by the customer, we were given the opportunity to present our customer with what we felt like is a floor plan we would utilize in one of our own vans. Based off of a Mercedes Sprinter 144 high roof chassis this build is backed by power and water systems made to go the distance with a simple and open floor plan. On the driver side we constructed a custom galley to maximize storage while utilizing a Ruvati 15X15 sink and Thetford 365 porta-potti on a slide out deck. The unique design of the galley on the driver side still allows for proper function and comfort of the Scopema swivel seat on the driver side. To round off the meal prep area a 110V outlet for a removable induction cooktop and a custom microwave upper cabinet with a GE 1.1 cubic feet 1000-watt microwave was set in place. On the passenger side our favorite 130L Isotherm drawer Inox was installed which allows for access from either the inside or the outside of the van, which is complemented with a flip down table for happy hour and another 101V outlet to power a portable speaker for your favorite tunes. In the rear of the van a dinette seating solution was installed for enjoying meals and good company, which is easily converted into a bed platform for sleeping. A separate platform bed was installed for additional overnighters should circumstances present. Our standard 400- amp hour Victron lithium system powers the Nomadic cooling 3000 12V air conditioning unit along with all of the other DC and AC appliances in the van. With a Rixen’s hyrondic heating sytsem for hot air and on demand hot water, this 144 is built to take you there and stay there longer.
